SHEroes Inc. is an Indiana registered non-profit organization founded on principles surrounding compassion, commitment, and courage. Our organization was founded in 2014, with the 1st chapter originating in Richmond, IN. We went forth and received our 501c3 status in 2016. We strive to empower young girls ranging from grades sixth through twelfth to aim for excellence, promote healthy relationships, and overall improve quality and respect for their lives. We provide positive role models and a welcoming environment.

THE Executive TEAM


Founder | Ieshia W​ebster-Harris, M.S.​
Ieshia is the founder and Executive Director of SHEroes Inc. She is a proud mother, mentor, and author. She has been working with Indianapolis youth for the last 17 years. Ieshia obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Grambling State University. She received her Master's degree in Management from Capella University. Ieshia is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Sigma Alpha Iota, Grambling State Alumni Association, and the Indiana Association of Blacks in Higher Education.

Our Programs

SHE Cooks Cooking Class - Feb. 8th @6PM
Math, reading, & other core skills are used to cook. During this lesson SHEroes learn how to follow recipes, measure ingredients, mix things properly, and handle knives. At the end of this session SHEroes prepare a dinner for family, board members, & supporters. Students learn:

SHEroecanics Auto Workshops -T.B.A.
Allow young ladies to learn car basics such as:

How to change a tire

How to check tire pressure

What is an air filter?

What to do when your dashboard lights come on?

How to find quality discounted car maintenance

Self-Defense Course - March 8th @6PM
Young women between the ages of 16-18 are at high threat of being raped and targeted for abusive intimate relationships. Young ladies will learn:

Boundary setting

De-escalation skills

How to physically protect themselves

Swim Camp - June 12th through 16th
Through a series of guided lessons from a certified YMCA Water Safety Instructor, participants will learn the foundations of swimming such as floating, gliding, and gaining comfort in the water.

Classes will be hybrid. Students will complete the modules on their own and meet in person on the date listed. Students will be given the opportunity to network with industry professionals. The location will be mailed after registration.
